Aasiáh T. Pollard, 17, of New Bedford died July 5, 2025 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, son of Ashlee M. Pollard and Ashley "B.R." Cornier of New Bedford, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Aasiáh enjoyed spending time with all his cousins and being spoiled by everyone. He was very well loved by all. He loved music, his favorite artist to listen to was Chris Brown. (It would really get him moving in the pacer at school. LoL) He loved R&B just like his mum!
He was about to go into his senior year at the Schwartz Center in Dartmouth. Aasiáh was always fly and stylish, even won the Best Dressed Award this year on field day.
He is survived by his parents Ashlee and B.R.; his younger brother Luis "Lui" Cornier; his grandfather, Gregory H. Pollard; his grandmother on his father's side, Elsie Cortijo; his uncles, Allen Jeffrey Nunes, Shea Nunes, Evan Pina, Randall "Randy" Pollard; several tt's ,aunts, and great-aunts, great-uncles; and tons of cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Rose Marie (Nunes) Pollard and his great-grandparents, Laura M (Mott) Zompa and Ralph Zompa, Randall B Pollard and Gwendolyn (Slyfield) Pollard.
His visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 12th from 3-7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
