Adeline Baptiste, 95, of New Bedford died August 15, 2024 at The Oaks.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Henry and Christina (Baptist) Baptist, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was formerly employed by Ocean Spray for many years until her retirement.
Adeline was a member of the International Church of the Nazarene.
She enjoyed gardening and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Baptiste of New Bedford; her niece, Nancy Baptist; her nephew, Tom Baptist; and her great-niece, Khara Baptist.
She was the sister of the late Henry Baptiste, Jr., Benny Baptist, Joseph Baptist, Josephine Baptist, Julia Baptist and Eunice Baptist.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, her family will receive guests on Friday from 10 - 11 AM prior to her service.  Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery.
