Albert R. Serpa, Jr., 79, of New Bedford died March 19, 2026 at Care One at New Bedford.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Albert R. and Isabel (Baptiste) Serpa, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed at the Building 19 Warehouse until his retirement. Albert was very proud to have received "employee of the month" several times.
He enjoyed watching old TV shows and he was an avid Boston Celtics fan.
The family would like to thank Sandra Baptiste for all the help she provided to Albert while in the hospital.
Survivors include his sister, Patti Serpa and her partner Alice Costa of Acushnet.
He was the brother of the late Cynthia Richard.
His private funeral was held Wednesday, March 25th followed by burial in Rural Cemetery.
