Albert Souto, 86, of New Bedford died suddenly on Tuesday September 27, 2011.

Born in Wareham, the son of the late Jose and Anna Souto, he lived in Wareham before moving to New Bedford 30 years ago.

Mr. Souto was formerly employed as a truck driver for Ocean Spray Cranberry Company.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond, Robert, and Patrick Souto; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Junior, Thomas, Frankie, Joseph, John and Diana Souto and Mabel "Annie" Souto Brenton, and brother of the late Lottie, Tintine and Nathaniel Souto.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday October 21, 2011 at 10 AM at Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
