A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, New Bedford, MA for Albert Richard "Al" Tarini, of Rockaway, NJ who passed away after a brief illness on January 19, 2024 in hospice.

Albert was born in New Bedford, the son of the late Primo and Eleanor (Borghi) Tarini.

He is survived by his loving wife, Branka "Bea" Beslic, his daughter, Janine Tarini; his son, Christopher (Danielle) Tarini of Robertsville, Missouri; his brothers, Ramon Tarini, Peter Tarini, and Dave (Deborah) Tarini, all of New Bedford; and five grandchildren, Jolissa Tarini, Chloe Valesco, Patrick Valesco, Lily Tarini and Ava Tarini.

Al was predeceased by his stepdaughter Lisa Bonfiglio and his sister-in-law Rosalie (Pineau) Tarini.

Al was a caring and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather.

Albert was a graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University in Dartmouth earning degree in Textile Technology with Finishing Option. He was employed by companies as a Quality Control Engineer.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He trained at Field Armament School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and graduated Field Armament NCO Sergeant, serving as crew chief of a motorized tracked artillery gun. Bat C, 8th Battalion, 4th Army. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service.
