Alda F. (Ferreira) DosSantos, 83, of New Bedford passed away Thursday June 6, 2018 after a long illness. She was the wife of Jorge B. DosSantos.

Born in Sao Nicolau, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Joao B. and Ana M. (Lopes) Ferreira, she resided in New Bedford since 1981.

Alda was formerly employed as a massage therapist at Family Chiropractic Center in New Bedford for 20 years until her retirement.

She and her husband enjoyed traveling the world together.

She is survived by her husband Jorge; two sisters, Maria de La Salete Ferreira and Edla Ferreira DeBrito; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Jenny Medina, Aguinaldo and Antonio G. Ferreira, Augusto and Marcelino Santos.
