Alfred Pamplona, 82, of New Bedford, an Army veteran of World War II, died Wednesday March 28, 2012 at home.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice (Pereira) Pamplona; his children, Kenneth, Donna, Paul, Alfred, and Emily Pamplona, Brenda Bessette,and Joyce Payette; his sister, Beatrice Ribeiro; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass Monday at 11 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Visitation Monday 9:30-10:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Interment Mass.
