Alice C. (Walsh) Perry, 93, of New Bedford died Saturday October 29, 2005 at Sacred Heart Home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Manuel E. Perry.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John R. and Minnie I. (Rau) Walsh, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.

Mrs. Perry was formerly employed as a telephone operator for New England Telephone Company many years ago.

She was a former member of the Holy Name Ladies Guild and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila A. Richard and her husband Paul of New Bedford; two grandchildren, Kathleen Clough and her husband Christopher, and Kevin Richard and his wife Jeanne; and six great-grandchildren, Patrick Lizotte, Nicholas Lizotte, Meagan Clough, Kristopher Clough, Benjamin Richard, and Ryan Richard.

She was the mother of the late Kathleen F. Perry.

Her Funeral Mass in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church willl be private. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
