Anne E. (Bowen) Sylvia, 86, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday August 12, 2025 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of the late Donald Sylvia.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Timothy F. and Mary E. (Dowd) Bowen, she lived in New Bedford all of her life. She was a graduate of Holy Family High School.

Anne was formerly employed as a secretary for Alden Corrugated Container Corporation.

She is survived by her nephews, Timothy D. Bowen and Patrick F. Bowen.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward F. Bowen and Francis E. Bowen.

At her request, a private Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
