Arcenia Mae (Correia) Pina, 86, of New Bedford died Tuesday May 21, 2013 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Pina.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Mendez) Correia.

Mrs. Pina was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

She especially loved her home and her family.

She is survived by her children, Thomas L. Pina, Carolyn M. Houston and husband James, Maria L. Pina Crosley, and Rosalie Pina-Fairhurst and husband Robert; her brother, John L. Correia; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Laurence E. Pina.

Visitation Wednesday 9-10:30 AM at Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by Funeral Mass at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial in Rural Cemetery.
