Beatrice M. (Martin) Amaral, 85, of Acushnet passed away Saturday July 7, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph Amaral.
Born in Fairhaven the daughter of the late Norman C. and Mary (Costa) Martin, she lived in Fairhaven and Acushnet for many years.
Bea enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen J. Amaral and his wife Peggy of California, and David J. Amaral and his wife Judith of New Bedford; her sister, Elaine M. Kelly of Dartmouth; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
