Beatrice (Rebello) Gladu, 87, of New Bedford passed away Friday June 8, 2018 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late George R. Gladu.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Antonio C. Rebello and Emilia (Pragana) Rebello Cardoza, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracey Gomes and Tammy Hierholcer and her husband Robert; her sister, Alice Cardoza; three grandchildren, Anthony Gladu, Amber Reis, and Brooke Gomes; and five great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Theodore Gladu.
A private family burial service was held on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
