Beatrice A. (Therrien) Leonard, 100, of Waterbury, CT died Monday December 9, 2013. She was the wife of the late Alfred Leonard.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Delia (Barriteau) Therrien, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life before moving to Connecticut in the early 1970s.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Leonard of Marstons Mills and Pauline Alexander of Morrisville, NC; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
