Beatrice (Lomba) Silva, 102, of New Bedford died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at CareOne at New Bedford after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Boaventura Silva.

Born in Acushnet, the daughter of the late John and Louisa (Pereira) Lomba, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Silva of Portsmouth, RI, and Robert Silva of Bridgewater; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and three nieces.

She was the mother of the late Lorraine Chor and Linda Affonse, and sister of the late Charlotte Baptista.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 9 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
