Bernice M. (Doyle) Lestage, of New Bedford died Tuesday June 18, 2013.She was the wife of the late Ernest P. "Pete" Lestage.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Patrick A. and Margaret (Gelder) Doyle, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.

Mrs. Lestage was formerly employed as a clerical worker at Revere Copper & Brass until her retirement.

Survivors include her son Edward R. Karl and his wife Cynthia of Dartmouth; three grandchildren, Edward J., Todd P., and Tracey L. Karl; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was the sister of the late William and Clinton Doyle.
