Beth Ann Henderson was born on December 7, 1953, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and returned to the ancestors on January 14, 2026.
Beth Ann was a woman of immense strength, passion, and depth. A hard worker in every sense, she carried herself with resilience and determination. Beneath her firmness lived a heart full of absolute love. She worked on herself every day, spiritually, emotionally, and personally, always striving to grow, heal, and understand life more deeply.
She was a priestess of Oshun, devoted to her spiritual path, and loved God with a sincere and searching faith. Beth Ann was a true inspiration, unique, unapologetically herself, and unforgettable to those who knew her. Her presence left marks that time cannot erase.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Junayd and Aadam, her two daughters in law, and four cherished grandchildren who were lights in her life. She is also lovingly remembered by a large circle of cousins, family, and friends who held her with unconditional affection.
Though her physical journey has ended, her spirit remains in the stories told, the wisdom passed down, and the love that continues forward.
Closing Quote
"A strong Black woman is not born. She is forged through fire, faith, and love. And even in her absence, her strength continues to rise."
