Bobby L. Ashton, 40, of New Bedford died Thursday March 1, 2007 suddenly at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Kinston, N.C., he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Lois; four sisters, Karen, Debbie, Wendy, and Robin; his primary caretaker, Shirley Monteiro and her companion William Andrews and her family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9-10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by a Committal Service at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne at 11 AM.
