Brian P. Silva, 50, of New Bedford died October 27, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
He was the husband of the late Susan (Johansen) Silva.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Betty L. (Parker) Ouellette of Wareham and the late Frank J. Silva, he lived in Marion most of his life.
He was employed as a mason for many years.
Survivors include his mother; 2 sons, Jeremiah Silva and Andrew Silva, both of Florida; 4 brothers, Tim, Skip, Brad and Matt Silva, all of Marion; 2 sisters, Terry Bennett of New Bedford and Debbie Zine of Wareham; several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Robert Cathcart.
His private arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett.
