Brunilda Munoz, 60, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at Brigham and Women's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of Cecilia (Valentín) Correa of Aguada Cruz, Puerto Rico, and the late Prudencio Munoz Ramoz. Brunilda was raised in Puerto Rico and later returned to New Jersey, where she lovingly raised her family. In her later years, she retired to Florida before ultimately relocating to Massachusetts to be closer to her children and to receive the specialized treatment she needed.

She was the devoted mother of four children: Katherine, Alexandra, Willis, and Fabian and the proud grandmother of seven cherished grandchildren: Brianna, Kaylee, Jaliann, Joey, Eva, Arrow, and Javian. Her family was the heart of her world.

Brunilda had a remarkable gift for bringing people together and creating a sense of belonging wherever she went. Her presence alone offered comfort and joy, often accompanied by the delightful aroma of her delicious home cooked meals. Her avena oatmeal, made with love, was a breakfast staple that everyone looked forward to. Whether it was a simple gathering or a special celebration, Brunilda's vibrant spirit and perfectly timed humor lit up every room.

Despite any distance, she remained closely connected to those she loved. Her daily check-in calls to her children and grandchildren, were her way of showing care and staying present in their lives. Her deep love for her grandchildren was evident in every corner of her home and phone, both filled with pictures of their smiling faces.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 7th at 1 PM at Hope Evangelical Community Church, 88 Hathaway Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02747.
