Candida L. (Pina) Conley, 91, of New Bedford passed away Monday August 26, 2024 after a brief illness.  She was the wife of the late Edmund J. Conley.

Born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Candido L. and Anna (Fortes) Pina, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Candida was formerly employed as a housekeeper at various area hotels.

She loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, who especially liked reading her Bible.

She is survived by her children, Rachel Conley and Mark E. Conley; her sisters, Mary Draper and Frances Teale; her grandchildren, Mark E. Norman, Charnell Norman, and Kenji Conley; her great-grandchildren, Xavier and Elijah; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Manuel Pina, Charles Pina, Jack Pina, Antone Pina, and Albert Pina.
