Carol E. Jones, 78, of New Bedford died Friday, August 29, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Jacques) Jones, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

She was formerly employed as a legal secretary for many years until her retirement.

Carol enjoyed motorcycles and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Toni Guilbeault and her husband Glen; three grandchildren, Tori, Christopher, and Nicole; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Christopher Jones and her four sisters, Nancy Pacheco, Eleanor Wohl, Dorothy Coombs, and Shirley Medeiros.
