Charles S. Dalton, III, 60 of Fairhaven died Tuesday June 16, 2015 at home after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Jeanne (Bachand) Dalton and the late Charles S. Dalton, Jr., he lived in this area all of his life.

Mr. Dalton was a graduate of New Bedford High School and attended Johnson & Wales University in the Culinary Arts Program.

He was a person with a big heart who was loved and will be missed by many.

Survivors include a daughter, Lacy Jeanne Langevin of Fairhaven; two brothers, Mark C. Dalton and his wife Barbara of Acushnet and James S. Dalton and his wife Deborah of Fairhaven; a sister, Patricia Perras of East Freetown; and several nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday at 9 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. A private burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
