Charles F. McIntire, 94, of Mattapoisett died June 3, 2003 at home after a brief illness.

He was the husband of Marceline (Pearsall) McIntire and the late Lillian V. (Sullivan) McIntire.

Born in Framingham, the son of the late George W. and Etta (Mayhew) McIntire, he had lived in Mattapoisett since 1954.

Mr. McIntire was formerly employed with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as the Resident Office Manager of its New Bedford office for many years until his retirement.

He enjoyed life and his family.

Survivors include 2 sons, David J. McIntire, Sr., and Roderick C. McIntire, both of Mattapoisett; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a niece.

He was the brother of the late Dorothy Cole-Landers.

His Funeral Service will be private.
