Christine Mae Costa

Christine Mae Costa, 76, of Dartmouth died Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at home after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late John A. Costa and the late Eulalia "Lillian" (Tavares) Costa, she lived in Dartmouth for most of her life.

She was formerly employed at various jobs through LifeStream, Inc.

Christine loved watching the Boston Red Sox and listening to pop music.

She is survived by two brothers, John Costa, Jr. and his wife Betty of Dartmouth and Jeffrey Costa and his wife Carol of New Bedford; and four nephews, Garret Costa, Robert Johnson, Corde Johnson, and Thomas Costa.

Her Funeral Service will be Friday, May 8, 2026 at 9:45am in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 8-9:45am, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine's memory may be made to CMHS, Inc., 331R State Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02747.
