Claire M. (Tetrault) Ostrander, 81, of New Bedford February 20, 2005 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home after a long illness.
She was the wife the late Bernard Ostrander.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Wilfred and Olive (Aube) Tetrault, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Mrs. Ostrander was formerly employed as a nurses aid in private duty nursing for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Travers, and her husband Michael, of New Bedford; a sister, Jeannette Souza of New Bedford; a granddaughter; 1 niece and 2 nephews.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 23rd at 9 AM in St. Lawrence Church.
