Clarence I. "Mike" Harriman, 66, of New Bedford died Sunday June 15, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Cecilia "June" (Mosakowski) Harriman.

Born in Belfast, Maine, the son of the late John M. and Lenora E. (Moody) Harriman, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.

Mr. Harriman was formerly employed by the Continetal Screw Company and Acushnet Rubber Company.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1964. He loved his grandchildren, playing his guitar, and painting.

Survivors include wife; a daughter, Rhonda Deshane of Maine; a sister, Mary Miller of Maine; five grandchildren, Alexiss O'Sullivan, Sarah, Sonya, Michaela, and Journey; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marlene and Charles Johnson.

He was the father of the late Michelle O'Sullivan.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9 AM in St. Lawrence Church. Burial with military honors will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
