Claudie Dupuy, 55, of New Bedford died Monday April 8, 2013.

Born in Dakar, Senegal, the daughter of Ana (Clarimundo) Dupuy and the late Roger J. Dupuy, she lived in California for many years before moving to New Bedford.

Claudie was formerly employed as a hairdresser.

She is survived by her mother; her daughter, Tessa; her brothers, Pierre and Armand; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was the sister of the late Christine Vitti.
