Clifford D. Rodrigues, 45, of New Bedford died Sunday, May 19, 2024 unexpectedly at Marlborough Hospital.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Amadeu Rodrigues and Julia Fernandes, he lived in New Bedford, the city he loved, for all of his life.

Clifford enjoyed being around his family and friends and always lit up any room he entered with his bright smile and laughter.  He was full of love and was a life-long Green Bay Packers fan. His favorite pastimes were playing with his children, music, dancing, cooking, and of course eating.  He had many friends who were like family to him and will be greatly missed by many. Cliffy was truly one of a kind.

He is survived by his fiancee, Sandra Vieira; three sons, Zavier Rodrigues, Mykkal Rodrigues, and Kayden Clifford Rodrigues; two daughters, Zaliyah Rodrigues and Alianna Rodrigues; his sister, Jo Jo Fernandes; two brothers, Amadeu Rodrigues, Jr. and Danny Rodrigues; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Keiari Duarte Rodrigues and Clifford "C.J." Rodrigues, Jr.

His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 12 Noon in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
