Cora L. (Hunter) Stewart, 69, of New Bedford died April 13, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Westminister, SC, the daughter of the late Edd and Lydia M. (Keels) Hunter, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include a son, Lamont Stewart of New Bedford; a daughter, Le-Teisha Robinson of Taunton; 2 brothers, Roosevelt Hunter of New Bedford and Ramsey Hunter of Jacksonville, NC; 4 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
