Daniel T. Thompson, 61, of New Bedford died Monday April 25, 2005 at home after a long illness. He was the husband of Angelina T. (Andrews) Thompson.

Born in Donora, Pennsylvania, he lived in New Bedford for the past 32 years.

He was a member of the Fairhaven Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mr. Thompson was employed by the Raytheon Corporation in Waltham until his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Alice Lightfoot of Donora; three sons, Daniel T. Thompson II of New Bedford, Jason D. Thompson of Kissimmee, Fla., and David D. Thompson of Charlotte, N.C.; three daughters, Holly Roderiques of New Bedford, Danielle Walsh of Kissimmee, Fla., and Leloni Thompson of Melrose; two brothers, Jeffrey Clanton and Timothy Clanton, both of California; two sisters, Lois Larkin and Karen Perry, both of Donora; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be on Wednesday April 27, 2005 at 7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
