David Martin Cardoza, 24, of New Bedford died Sunday August 8, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Wareham, the son of Lisa Cardoza of New Bedford and David White of North Carolina, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.

Mr. Cardoza was formerly employed as a truss builder for Reliable Truss Company.

He loved being with people and helping others.

Survivors include his parents; his siblings, Marisa Cardoza of Wareham, Chevonne White of Miami, FL, Delite White, Aryana White, Azeelah White, and Aaron White, all of North Carolina; his grandmother Flora White of Boston; his great-grandmother, Mary Mendes of Wareham; his aunt who helped raise him, Sandra Mendes-Silvia of Wareham; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

His Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 16,2010 at 8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4-8 PM prior to the service.
