David K. Meeker

David K. Meeker, 58, of Mattapoisett passed away suddenly while on a business trip in New York City. He was the husband of Phuong "Dani" Tran, and father of Sarah Meeker.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Jordan and Mary (McCarthy) Meeker, he was raised in Franklin, and resided in Mattapoisett for the past seven years. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and St.Michael's College in Vermont, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

David worked in software sales for many years in various locales such as Southeast Asia, Singapore, and New York.

In his leisure time he enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, eating good food, watching sports, playing golf, going to the beach, and listening to music. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife and his daughter.

He is survived by his wife- Dani, his daughter- Sarah, his sister- Karen Fleming and her husband Warren, and his nephew and nieces- Alexander, Erica, and Michelle Fleming. David also leaves behind his cousins whom he loved dearly; Kathy Dunigan, Greg Dunigan, Beth Dunigan and her husband Jay Gillespie, and Brian and his wife Julie Dunigan.

His visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 10-11AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Mattapoisett, followed by a memorial service at 11AM. For online condolence book, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
