David T. Peirce, 83, of Fairhaven died November 10, 2003 at Alden Court Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.

He was the husband of Bertha D. (Vincent) Peirce to whom he was married for 61 years and son of the late Reginald and Hilda (Tomlinson) Peirce.

Mr. Peirce was born in New Bedford and lived in Fairhaven most of his life.

He was formerly employed by Morse Cutting Tools for many years until his retirement.

Mr. Peirce was a member of the Corvair Car Club and a member of George H. Taber Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Fairhaven.

He served in the US Army during World War II and served as a board member for Naskatucket Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David C. Peirce, and his wife Beverly, of Fairhaven; 2 grandsons, David D. Peirce, and his wife Susannah and Bryan C. Peirce.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New BedfordThursday, November 13th at 11 AM.

Visiting hours Wednesday, November 12th from 4-7 PM.

Interment Naskatucket Cemetery.
