David Monteiro "Vivi" Pires, 66, of New Bedford passed away Thursday February 22, 2018.
He was the son of the late John J. and Hilda (Monteiro) Pires.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday March 2, 2018 from 4:30-7:30 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., followed by a memorial service at 7:30 PM.

A Mass in David's memory will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 47 South 6th Street, New Bedford, MA 02740 followed by a memorial brunch at the Bisca Tournament Club, 161 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford, MA 02740.
