Dennis Silvares

Dennis Silvares, 76, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Born in Acushnet, son of the late Avelino M. Silvares and Shirley (Britton) Escorsio, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.

Dennis loved fishing, playing music, and had a great sense of humor. He was a massive Elvis Presley fan. Dennis made many friends over the years at the Madeira Bar.

Survivors include his siblings, David Silvares and Deborah Silvares; an aunt Grace Rose; his caregivers Tiffany and Kayla Silvares; and many nieces, nephews and cousins

He is predeceased by his sister Pamela Silvares.

According to his wishes no public services will be held.
