Dianne M. (Antaya) Lopes, 74, 0f Dartmouth died August 22, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Malcom E. Lopes.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Paul E. and Dolores V. (Carvalho) Antaya, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth.

She was formerly employed as a lab assistant at St. Luke's Hospital and Hawthorn Medical and later was employed by Fairhaven Community Nurse and hospice.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanna Almeida and her fiancé Wayne Goyette of Dartmouth; a brother, Paul Antaya and his wife Cheryl of New Bedford; a grandson, Aaron Almeida and his fiancée Samantha Goodfellow; a niece, Kaitlyn Antaya; a nephew, Shaun Clattenburg; a sister-in-law, Janice Lopes of Dartmouth; a cousin, Beatrice Amster; and her significant other, Sean Mayo of Dartmouth.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9th at 10 AM in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd. Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
