Donald C. Jason, 86, of Mattapoisett died November 22, 2010 at Tobey Hospital.
He was the husband of Joan M. (Lindsay) Jason.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Walter and Mildred (Humphrey) Jason, he was raised in Fairhaven and lived in Mattapoisett most of his life.
He was the owner and publisher of the Presto Press for 43 years.
Mr. Jason enjoyed painting, golfing, sailing and walking to Ned's Point. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; several nieces and nephews including Sharon Hartley and her husband Greenwood Hartley, III of Rochester and David Young and his wife Janet of Fairhaven; several great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Miriam Young.
His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 11th at 11 AM in the Mattapoisett Congregational Church.
