Donald M. Oliveira, 86, of Dartmouth passed away suddenly on Monday March 12, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Muriel I. (King) Oliveira; they had been married for 64 years.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late John and Frances M. (Azevedo) Oliveira, he lived in Dartmouth for most of his life.
Mr. Oliveira was formerly employed as an automobile detailer at Ralph's Mazda and later at Ralph's Chevrolet until his retirement.
He was a member of the New Bedford Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife Muriel; his son, Donald J. Oliveira of New Bedford; three granddaughters, Meagan Gilson, Kristen Miranda, and Julie Oliveira; a great-grandson, Colton Gilson; and nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late John Oliveira, Frank Oliveira, Dorothy Motta, Natalie Miranda, and Vivian Ferro.
Private funeral arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
