Doris T. (Vanier) Hebert, 88, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of the late Albert and Cecile (Beauregard) Vanier, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.

Doris was a very outgoing and friendly person. She was well known to everyone at Trucchi's Supermarket in the North End. Doris was always known to her friends as "Kitty". She loved making people laugh and was always acting silly. She loved her trips to Foxwoods. Doris loved her cat Socks.

Doris is survived by her loving daughter, Diane Freitas of New Bedford; and her great-grandson Timothy Lynch.

She is predeceased by her granddaughter Tracey Freitas; and great-grandson Christopher Lynch.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
