Doris (Mandeville) Vien, 88, of New Bedford passed away Thursday December 13, 2018 at the Oaks Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Roland Vien.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Armand and Rose (Demers) Mandeville, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.

She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.

Mrs. Vien was formerly employed as a switchboard operator at Sacred Heart Nursing Home for 26 years until retirement.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM.
