Dorothy E. (Lilley) Cosman, 84, of Marion died May 5, 2003 at Hannah Dustin Nursing Home in Haverhill after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late William and Caroline (Barrows) Lilley.

Mrs. Cosman was born in New Bedford and had lived in Marion for most of her life.

She was a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital for many years.

Mrs. Cosman was a member of the Marion Women's Club, an avid golfer and member of the Kittansett Club and was active in the Massachusetts Audubon Society. She was an avid bridge player and was involved in several bird clubs worldwide.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Marilyn Keith, and her husband Robert, of Kingston, NH, Ellen Luce, and her husband Richard, of Painted Post, NY and Sylvia Bailey, and her husband David, of Newcastle, Maine; a brother, William Lilley, and his wife Pat, of Warwick, RI; a sister, Carolyn Green of New Bedford; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive guests at the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Saturday, May 10th from 2-4 PM.
