Dorothy E. (Durgin) Fowle, 89, of Fairhaven, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Alden Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fairhaven after a brief illness.

Born in New Hampshire, she and her late husband Durward moved to New Bedford in 1950. Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker and mother.

She is survived by two sons, David (Patricia) of Fairhaven and Dennis (Karen) of Hernando, FL; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Durward, and their son Durward Fowle, Jr.
