Dorothy M. (Barcomb) Jenkins, 87 of New Bedford died May 10, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in North Adams, MA, the daughter of the late William N. and Clara M. (Coty) Barcomb, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
She enjoyed playing bingo and casinos.
Her family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of The Oaks Nursing Home and Crapo 2 Ward at St. Luke's Hospital for the excellent care given to Dorothy.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Diane Deaton of Crosby, TX and Helen Martel and her husband Al of New Bedford; a sister, Jean King of Billerica, MA; 3 grandchildren, Angelique Costa, Melinda Costa and Patrick Deaton; 5 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
