Dorothy (Spinola) Pina, 90, of New Bedford died Saturday December 19, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Henry A. Pina.

Born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Julius Spinola and Jennie (Lopes) Spinola Pires, she lived in New Bedford for many years.

Mrs. Pina was formerly employed as a stitcher at Marcos Manufacturing until her retirement.

She is survived by her sister, June Monteiro of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Doris and Robert "Benny" Spinola.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, with visitation from 6-8 PM prior to the service.
