Dorothy A. (Swintak) Zielinski, 62, of New Bedford, died March 12, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Zielinski, and daughter of the late Felix V. and Alice (Slowinski) Swintak.

Mrs. Zielinski was born in New Bedford and had lived in New Bedford for all of her life.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Edward j. Zielinski of Framingham, and Stephen J. Zielinski of New Bedford; 2 daughters, Anna Donovan and Susan Perez, both of New Bedford; 3 brothers, Dr. Edward Swintak of Clarksville, Tenn., Phil Swintak of Sarasota, Fla., and Michael Swintak of New Bedford; a sister, Jean Wesoly of Pleasant Garden, NC; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
