Eddie L. Johnson, 72, of New Bedford died June 18, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Augusta, GA, he lived in Syracuse, NY and New York City before moving to New Bedford.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his companion, Anita Dutra of New Bedford; 2 sons, Kelvin Glover and his wife Melissa of Bronx, NY and Jarid J. Almeida of New Bedford; a sister, Ellen Johnson of New York City; and 3 grandchildren, Kelvin Glover, Jr., Xavier Glover and Kelisse Glover.
His funeral arrangements will be private.
