Edna Mae Houtman, 65, of Fall River, formerly of New Bedford, passed away Friday March 29, 2024.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Gloria S. (Campbell) Houtman, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life before moving to Fall River.

Edna was formerly employed as an assembler and packer at the Opportunity Center in New Bedford. She had also been a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital.

She is survived by her brother, Charles L. Campbell; her friend and caregiver, Leocadia Guilherme and her family; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Carolyn E. Antunes and Gloria L. Houtman.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday April 4th at 11AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 10-11 AM prior to the service.  Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
