Eileen M. Driscoll, 89, of New Bedford died Friday September 23, 2016 at Royal Taber Street Nursing Home.

Born in Bronx, New York, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary E. (Rafferty) Driscoll, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Eileen was formerly employed as a clerk in Third District Court in New Bedford until her retirement.

She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Kinyon-Campbell Business School.

Survivors include two nieces, Colleen Leonard and Debra Smallwood; a great-niece and two great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel P. Driscoll, and her nephews, Michael E. Driscoll and Daniel P. Driscoll, Jr.

A private family service was held on Tuesday September 27, 2016 at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Mattapoisett. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Bedford.
