Eileen (Syratt) Samson, 83, of New Bedford died July 8, 2010 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility.
She was the wife of the late Wilfred P. Samson.
Born in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England, the daughter of the late William and Ellen (Woolhead) Syratt, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Ann E. Frias and her husband William of Swansea and Karen Samson of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Laura Ouellette and Todd Frias; 4 great-grandchildren, Vanessa DeMotta, Andrew Ouellette, Maggie Frias and Emmy Frias; several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 13th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, July 12th from 5-7 PM.
