Elaine (MacDonald) Castino, 80, of New Bedford died November 8, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Raymond B. Castino, Sr.; they had been married for 52 years.
Born and raised in Sunset, Maine, the daughter of the late Elmer MacDonald and Gladys (Haskell) Helmetag, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Castino was a member of the Calvary Bible Church in Westport.
Survivors include 2 sons, Raymond B. Castino, Jr., and his wife Nancy, of New Bedford and Ralph E. Castino, and his wife Mary Ellen, of Seekonk; a sister, Sandra Jandreau of New Bedford; a cousin, Marvel Torrey of Deer Isle, Maine; 6 grandchildren, Susan, Matthew, Rachel, Andrew, Seth and Sarah; 2 great-granddaughters, Amanda and Ava; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the step-daughter of the late Edward Helmetag.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 7:30 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Visiting hours Saturday 4 - 7:30 PM prior to her service.
